Barcelona is a number one destination for an unforgettable adventure. The beautiful vibrant ambience of Barcelona sparkles by day and intensifies by night, it is truly the city that never sleeps. You can plan your trip or not plan it at all, an adventure is guaranteed! Our Hen & Stag photographer Barcelona will help you to discover this beautiful city.
Barcelona has nine gorgeous Mediterranean beaches that stretch along the coastline for 5km. You can enjoy the touch of warm sand on your feet as you are sipping a cocktail at one of the sea side cafe bars (called chiringuitos). And if you feel like something more substantial you can share some delicious paella with your friends. The coast line and the area of Barceloneta have an excellent choice of seafood and paella restaurants. All the city beaches are stretched along the yellow metro line L4, which makes them easy to access with public transport.

You can easily walk anywhere in Barcelona, but if you feel like getting your bearings first, take a ride on the Hop On Hop Off Bus. It will give you an idea of where the major city attractions are. Renting a bike or a bike tour is also great way to explore the city.
There is plenty to see in Barcelona culturewise as the city holds a vast creative heritage. If you want to be sure of visiting Barcelona’s most popular attractions without standing in line, we suggest you book your tickets online. We recommend skip the-the-line tickets for such popular attractions as the majestic Sagrada Familia and the picturesque Park Güell built by Antonio Gaudi, Casa Battló , Casa Milà and Picasso Museum . Picasso museum is among those that have free entry every first Sunday of the month.
You can enjoy the sun and the gentle drum beat of street musicians in Ciutadella Park. Go for a stroll around the old town, stopping for a coffee at the iconic cafe Els Quatre Gats , an iconic meeting place for artists in the beginning of the 20th century. As you lose yourself in the narrow sunlit streets of the old town make a stop for a glass cava and some good quality tapas at “El Xampanyet” or at “Tapeo” . If you have a sweet tooth take a minute to enjoy some typical sweet churros with hot chocolate or a glass of refreshing horchata or an ice cream at one of the endless cozy squares in the northern quarter area of Gracia.

For a breathtaking view and a memorable evening, go up the stairs all the way to Palau Nacional at sunset and allow yourself to be carried away by the majestic twilight falling on the city. Another unforgettable evening activity is a visit to a local Flamenco Show, accompanied by a glass of sangria. Dinner is eaten late in Barcelona and bars and clubs also get lively and full later than usual. To dance the night away we recommend the clubs in Port Olympic, Razzmatazz for techno nights, or clubs on Plaza Real if you are more into rock and roll.
Among others Barcelona’s important character feature is safety, which allows you to fully enjoy its wild Mediterranean nights without the unnecessary worrying about a possible bad encounter. Nevertheless it is important to be extra careful with your phones and belongings because just like the city itself, its pickpockets never sleep and are on the lookout on the Ramblas. To protect yourself from an unwanted experience, make sure you don’t carry your wallet in a back pocket, don’t put phones and cameras on the table, always keep bags on your lap and not on the floor at cafes/coffee bars.

Barcelona is all about delicious food so do not miss out on the experience of going to a local food market. Dive deep into amazing colours and smells and enjoy some tapas right there in the middle of all the action of the central La Boqueria Market at El Quim De La Boqueria or at the Pinotxo bar . The locals are very proud of the exceptional quality of their fresh ingredients and at places like La Paradeta or Cerveceria Catalana , you can actually choose your sea food from a fresh display and it will be cooked right there for you.
And let’s not forget about shopping! The areas of Gracia and el Born have some lovely cosy shops of local designers and collectors. Head towards Passeig de Garcia and Portal del Angel for big brands. Please bare in mind however, that most Barcelona shops are closed on Sundays.
Leave your worries behind, enjoy the sunshine and your unforgettable time and enjoy our Hen & Stag photographer Barcelona’s session
